DR BIJU BABY Completed his MBBS from Govt Medical College, Thrissur and MS in Surgery from Govt Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. Dr Biju Baby took his Mch in Urology from Govt. Medical College, Calicut in the year 2005.
He started his career as Registrar in Urology in Specialist Hospital . He had worked as Consultant Urologist at Sun Medical & Research Centre, Thrissur (2012-2022) & Edappal Hospital (2000-2019). Dr Biju Baby Possess more than 18 years of post Mch experience.
He is the pioneer Urologist in Thrissur to start Transobturator Tape(T.O.T) in 2007 for stress urinary incontinence. His routine urological procedures are cystoscopies, prostate bladder biopsies, urethral narrowing .
His areas of special interest are Laser and key hole surgeries for Kidney stones & prostate including RIRS, Surgeries for female Stress Urinary Incontinence (TOT procedure), Micro surgery for Male infertility, Varicocele surgeries and Vasal Recanalization surgeries, Treatment for male sexual disorders and Female urinary problems, Paediatric Urology procedures and Day care urology procedures like Flexible cystoscopy, Urethral Dilatation and Uroflowmetry.
